News

The news features offer a whole range of possibilities that help you publish and consume information in effective ways.

The distribution of information has always been one of the most important tasks of an intranet. But with digitization, the volume of e-mails in companies has increased dramatically and led to a real flood of data in many places. Now the news features offer a whole range of possibilities which help managing news in an effective way. With Swisscom Sharespace publishing news can be easily organized via containers. For example, a container can publish news on company level, another is limited and only allows to publish news on department level. This way, the total amount of news can be significantly reduced. Employees themselves can subscribe to news on intranet topics that they need to know or care about. The news are delivered via their start page or can be received via RSS feed. For sensitive communications, which should only be read by a certain group of people in the company, Swisscom Sharespace offers Closed User Groups (CUG). It also allows content creators to publish news in ways that ensure they are read by the users including statistics so, for example, you can make sure everybody in the company knows about important regulatory changes.
