Employees themselves can subscribe to news on intranet topics that they need to know or care about. The news are delivered via their start page or can be received via RSS feed. For sensitive communications, which should only be read by a certain group of people in the company, Swisscom Sharespace offers Closed User Groups (CUG). It also allows content creators to publish news in ways that ensure they are read by the users including statistics so, for example, you can make sure everybody in the company knows about important regulatory changes.

  • Obligatory News

    Define the news your staff must read. Select between “Enforce reading” which blocks the intranet until the user confirms that he has read the news, and “Confirm reading” which allows users to continue using the intranet, but asks them to confirm if the news has been read.
